    Synopsis / Executive Summary

As a most visited place of Asia, Nepal holds a very important role in the world economy from the viewpoint of tourism economy. It is clear in the study that Nepal is well aware about that fact and eager to take steps to make it better and more beneficial. In this case, rural development is very crucial and the government needs to understand the benefits and the problems more by examining the plans and policies. Seasonal sales operation need to be more conscious of the conjugal market, in particular with regular social events and cultural events that make available short breaks all the way through the year. Giving the stakeholders much importance is beneficial because they are the components of the economy too but giving them more importance can show some adverse situation too. In this study, it can be seen that agencies are now diversifying the whole promotion process more attractive by targeting different type of mindset of the tourist and that creates more options for the tourists. Allowing the tourists with more option and facilities will yield a good impression on the market and so the economy. Integrating all this factors and policies in a single equation will increase the number of tourists in due time.

    Introduction

Nepal is a country where religion, traditional believes and practice, environment, nature, foreign interference keeps their share in a fine alignment. People from all over the world come to visit Kathmandu for their spiritual tranquility and pace of mind or just to visit the beautiful view of the country and the Mount Everest. In this way, Nepal managed to grow an economy based on tourism and over time, it has become a major part of the economy of the country. It is also a most important source of foreign exchange and revenue (Shrestha, & Jeong, 2016). For increasing the tourism Nepal Board of Tourism has taken few initiatives. That initiative has variables like making sure the country is safe to travel. After that comes improving the infrastructure of the country both rural and urban. Problem arises when the disasters strikes or the locale starts revolting on the process of tourism and other problems are embedded in it. As the scope of the study, it can be said that the study will be able to show the good and adverse probability about travelling and the policy about it. The purpose of the study is to draw a clear picture that will depict how the policy will help to increase the travelers and what type of problem will rise from it and ways how to address them properly (Yadav, 2018).

    Findings and Analysis

The infrastructure in the destination and what role the agency plays in developing and managing infrastructure for the destination.

In recent times Nepal tourism seems to be spring back, the industries are more hopeful now than few years ago. Nepal board of tourism announced it is safe for trekking areas in the country, other than that NTB managed to arrange in a line the annual programs in a manner that it matches the priorities in hand and the initiatives of the government and the objective of private sector so no trouble arises in tourism and that is quite good steps towards the travel (Upadhyay, 2016).This step consists developing tourism infrastructure, increase the activities that tourists can enjoy, creating employment in the rural areas (Baniya, Ghimire, & Phuyal, 2017).

It is hoped that all this planning will bring up good amount of revenue that will be used in country’s grass root level so the economy sustains more efficiently.

The principles that the agency uses to guide their actions, and how key issues such as environmental sustainability influences the agency’s practices.

The policies to improvement of states that private sector of tourism should be in a leading role (Shrestha, 2016). The reason for this is the private sector deals more with tourists than others do and they know how the choice of travelers changes and they will be able to bend as the changes takes place (KC, Rijal, & Sapkota, 2015). After that another policy comes up that says tourism in rural area should be a priority. Reason for taking this approach is to develop the rural sector and redesign the entire rural part to make it more attractive so the urban areas will not get all the scope to business and the rural economy will get a chance to improve and achieve the catch up effect (Subedi, 2016).

Honestly, the too many pressure on the urban area is also causes environmental problems. The pollution spreads throughout the city. Kathmandu the capital of Nepal is suffering from this problem for few years by now. Another policy that is taken by the government is, developing the tourism up to a broad ranged sector by introducing tourism into the mainstream socioeconomic development. This is activated in a hope to attract newer investments to create new tourism facilities, services and products (Gautam, 2018).

The key destination stakeholders and the role that the agency plays in managing these various stakeholders and their (potentially) conflicting objectives.

As the stakeholders are now concerned about the fact thtat how the opted policy will be beneficial for them the government approached to make them see the good sides of it. The concept of stakeholders can come from many sector of tourism business. Such as, the local guide, travel agencies, transport managers, pilgrims side managers etc. the study is reffering these as the private sector and board of tourism states the new policy will be prioritizing the private sectors.

The role that agency has in promoting the destination to visitors

The stakeholders or the private sectors are well aware about how to get more visitors. Agency consults with them about any upcoming event and plan according to that. Creating lucrative offers for the visitors could be like “get a chance to visit to escape from the daily life cacophony by visiting Namcha Bazaar and enjoy the view of the Mount Everest” (Upadhayaya, & Upreti, 2018). In addition, it can be said that rural areas are filled up with many tribes and their festivals are quite rich and beautiful, “food for soul” ((Chhetri, 2018)). Foreign tourist enjoys this type of festivals and always eager to know more about it.  Allocating special transport for that, package and giving discount will definitely draw the tourist and that is the role that the agencies play to get more visitors.

On the other hand, for private sector it will be quite beneficial because it will give them enough time to be prepared for any event. Mostly it will help the countries touring agencies because it will allow them to create lucrative offer s for the travelers specified to different events. Another policy to build rural sector more attractively will create a chance for everyone in rural areas. Considering the fact, it will help the country to build an equal distribution economy where urban areas are not getting all the opportunity but also the overall country is taking part in tourism economy (Nepal, & Baral, 2016). This will create earning potential for everyone in the economy (Pokharel, et al, 2017).

    Conclusions

Nepal is still improving in economic sector and the whole country is depending on its tourism sectors. The improvement of tourism is only possible when the board of tourism will implicate some policy supporting the matter. The whole business centering in urban tourism is creating huge pressure on the urban sectors and tourists are not getting enough scope to explore the county. Therefore,it is creating a gap in the economy and it is important to close the gap by implicating some beneficial policy. As it was stated before the rural areas have lot to offer but lack of right infrastructure is keeping the progress away from solution. There are lot of cultures are present in the country, so government should take the advantage to avoid the seasonal trends that comes only few times in a year and rest of the time almost goes nearly empty. Therefore, integrating the opportunities will create a robust way to gain the maximum out of it. After that government is unable to give, solution to every issue regarding tourism, sogiving extra priority will show some good and favorable outcomes but along with that, the problem of exploitation will arise. Now government and policy makers should sit down and try to get a satiable solution after revising the policies and options.

    Recommendations

It is said before in the study that Nepal is a multi-cultural country where every type of religion and culture comes to coincide with others. When dealing with rural solution the government or the policy makers should take the point as an advantage. Social events attract more tourist than anything else does. It is not like other days are not going to draw tourists towards the places but social gathering and share of cultural value comes only in the biggest cultural events. If the rural areas come together with urban areas, then the tourist will be able to get more attraction that is social and it will certainly increase the tourists’ activities. For example, Lukla is a small town in Nepal that is closest to Mount Everest and the expedition to Mount Everest mainly starts from here in general. Facilitating this place with good equipment and resource will increase the number of people who are not interested in mount climbing but interested to see the greatest Mountain ever. Upgrading the rural area will help in dynamic way
