1. The human resource department plays a very significant role in the development of the organizations. It is the human resource department that is responsible for making sure that the employees are made suitable for the works that are assigned to them. It is the human resource department that is responsible for offering training to the employees. When the employees are recruited of the first time or even when they have gained years of experience they might be sent for training depending on the decisions made by the human resource department. There have been instances where the credibility of the training provided to the employees has been questioned. But after much analysis it can be said that the training provided to the employees (Hall and O'Dwyer, 2017).
The training provided to the employees has significant impact on the development on the employees. It is the training of the employees that has been helping the employees to understand how certain factors and features have been working for the company. With the help of the training the employees are able to understand how they should work or operate certain features of their tasks. For instance a complex machine has been introduced in an industry. It is really difficult for the employees to know how to operate the machines. Since every machine consists of different complex functions and operations, it is important that the operators know how to operate them. Without having knowledge about the way the different components of the machines work, it is impossible for the operators to work with the machines (Fragoulis, and Voula, 2011). Similarly without having knowledge about the machines, it is impossible to repair or rectify any kind of fault present in the machines. It is the training that helps the operators and the mechanics to have the suitable knowledge for repair or rectification of the machines.
Therefore it is evident that training helps people to know about the different important components ways of operations of machines. It is not just the operators of machines and the mechanics but every aspect needs training. Training helps people to have a preliminary knowledge about the different ways and aspect of their duties. It is not just technical things that need training for operation. Training also helps people in managing and management activities. People in management tasks also need training. It is their training that helps them to know how to manage people and make sure that the people perform their respective tasks properly. Training helps people to hone their skills and learn new things. The most important feature about training is that it helps people to gain knowledge about the tasks they are assigned to perform. As a result the people who are assigned the different tasks have some preliminary and primary knowledge about the different tasks that they are about to perform and the jobs that they would have to perform. Training helps people to have practical knowledge about the things that they have learnt theoretically. Since having practical knowledge about different things helps to perform tasks easily and this practical knowledge is imparted among people with the help of training, therefore it can be said that training actually helps people to enhance their skills and improve the performance of the employees. With the improvement in the skills of the employees it becomes possible for the employees to work in such a way that it turns out to be profitable for the organizations (Crawford, 2018). With the help of the skills earned through training the employees would be able develop better working and execution skills. In this way the employees would be able to contribute to the better performance of the companies.
Training programs also serve the job of assessing the performance of the employees. Training programs within organization helps to have a better understanding of the performance of the employees. Since the employees might have to perform certain tasks while getting trained, their weaknesses and strengths can be assessed on how they perform while getting trained. According to their performance in the training period, the employees can be assigned different tasks and duties. Moreover the training sessions serve as important doubt clearing sessions for the employees. Therefore, even if the employees face certain problems in their line of work, the problems might be resolved while being in the training session.
Training also helps to develop a sense of loyalty towards the company among the employees. The training provided to the employees helps to influence the employees to be dedicated and loyal towards the companies. Training helps to develop self confidence and self dependence among the employees. All these features among the employees help the companies to perform better. With the better performance of the employees, the performance of the companies and organizations also improves. The overall performance of the company is directly proportional to the performance of the individual employees (Parker and Bradley, 2010). As a result the overall performance of the companies improves with the implementation of training programs in the companies.
To summarize it can be said that the training programs used by different companies and organizations have been beneficial for the development of the employees and profitable for the organizations.

While taking care of the employees the human resource department needs to pay heed to the fact that the organization development does not get hindered or the organization does not suffer losses in the attempt to take care of the welfare of the employees.

Training programs helps the employees to improve their skills and improve their performance in the organization. The training programs arranged by the human resource departments help the employees to have a better idea of their tasks and duties. The training programs also help in assessment of the employees and their performance. In simple words it can be said that the training programs arranged by the organizations help the organizations to improve the performance of the employees and thereby lead to the profitability of the organization (Wessel, 2017). As a result the people who are assigned the different tasks have some preliminary and primary knowledge about the different tasks that they are about to perform and the jobs that they would have to perform. Training helps people to have practical knowledge about the things that they have learnt theoretically.
However it must be considered that the training program used by the organizations to train and assess the employees is an expensive and costly process. Every training program consists of numerous steps and processes that involve significant amount of expenses. The expenses consist of arrangement of the training program to the assessment of the employees after the training program is successfully conducted. Initially the companies have to invest in determining whether to carry out a training program to train the employees. Next the human resource has to decide whether the training is to be carried out in some external organization or within the organization. In case the human resource department decides to go for external training, then the company might have to pay the external organization for providing the training (Lok and Crawford, 2014). Simultaneously if the organization decides to conduct training within the organization, then the organization has to make the necessary arrangements for the training program. This might involve purchasing of new machinery and equipment. After the organization has decided the location for training, the next step involves notifying the employees of the training program that is to be conducted. Circulating the necessary notice about the training involves expenses as there are different modes of notifying which requires expenses.
While deciding the location for training, the company also has to decide whether to pay special stipend to the employees or give them facilities or both. Since it is the decision of the company to send certain employees for training, therefore it would be the responsibility of the company to pay the employees. In many cases the employees have to travel from one place to another or migrate to a different location. In such cases the organization has to make sure that the employees are given proper compensation. In case the employees face any kind of accident or mishap while in training then the organizations would have to pay for the compensation. The company also has expenses to bear for the travelling of the employees. Another major expense that needs mentioning is the expenses of appointing an instructor. When the organization is carrying out its own training session, it needs to appoint trainers and instructors (Crawford, 2014). The appointment might be from within the organization or might involve hiring from other organizations. In such cases the instructors need to be paid specially salaries. In some case the organizations need to conduct an examination in order to make sure that the training that has been conducted has been successful and the proper education has been given to the employees. In such cases the expenses for conducting the examinations has to be borne by the organization.
Similarly there are many miscellaneous expenses that need to be considered prior to the conducting of a training session. It is the responsibility of the human resource department to consider all the expenses and then plan the training accordingly. With proper estimation and planning the training sessions conducted by the organizations can be really beneficial and the things learnt by the employees can turn out to be profitable for the organizations. To summarize it can be said that despite of all the expenses, if training sessions are conducted properly, it can be really beneficial for the organization and its employees.
3. Training has been high beneficial for the organization I have been working in. I work as the store manager in a super market. Being the store manager I have to perform different tasks. Starting from keeping record of the inventory to the delivery of items, I have to keep track of all the transactions that are carried out. Considering all the responsibilities that I have to manage, the organization decided to train me in order to make sure that I perform my tasks properly. The training provided to me helped me to have a better understanding of the functions and operations that are carried out in the organization.
In order to train me and provide a better understanding of the operations that are carried out in the organization, the organization arranged training session in a similar kind of super market. The subsidiary of the supermarket was in another city. The training session was scheduled for 30 days with 6 hours of training every day. This helped me to gain significant amount of knowledge of how the supermarkets operate. The organization arranged my transport and stay in a nearby hotel. I was also being given a healthy stipend that helped to make sure that I was comfortable. The store manager was my guide and instructor. He was quite friendly and explained to me a few factors about the store operations. Starting from inventory management to the management of staff, the instructor taught quite a few tricks that were quite useful when I first took my job. He also taught me efficient techniques of cataloging and arranging items of the store that would help me to get retrieve and fetch items easily. To summarize, it can be aid that the training arranged by my organization has helped me by a great deal with store management in the initial stages of my job.
