  • Economic Indicators: Explain four (4), economic indicators in relation to market needs and opportunities.
  • Target Market Analysis: Explain the characteristics of your target market based on your target market analysis. Information may include where they come from, income level, life cycle placement, gender, age, interests and priorities, spending patterns, attitudes, opinions, motivations, what they look for in a holiday, travel products likely to appeal.
  • Competitor Analysis: Based on your completed SWOT analysis on one competitor, explain the opportunities available for you to develop a competitive advantage and your Unique Selling Point (USP).  
  • Length of the tour
  • Commencement date
  • Estimated Costs
  • Estimated Profitability and Viability

5.    Recommendation of your group tour idea with links to the research carried out.

  • Highlights of the itinerary
  • Explain why you believe the group tour will appeal to the target market you have identified.
  • Maximum 150 words on the tour’s costs, breakeven point, viability and profitability based on your final group tour costing.

6.   Conclusion

Summarise the benefits of investing in your tour.

8.   Appendix/Appendices

You may also include your SWOT analysis, tables, graphs, any supplementary information referred to in the proposal.
