Fibbins, H., Ward, P. B., Watkins, A., Curtis, J., & Rosenbaum, S. (2018). Improving the health of mental health staff through exercise interventions: a systematic review. Journal of Mental Health27(2), 184-191.

The paper is all about mental health development and the objective here is to improve the mental health condition of the organizational employees through physical intervention such as exercise. The aim is however to know about the feasibility, effectiveness and acceptability of exercise on working staffs. Questions are related to mental health stability of the organizational workforce.

The research method here is based on primary data collection and this is all about collecting the first hand data that provides information and knowledge about the relation between exercise and mental health. The research was conducted on a group of employees.  This is mainly a research that is conducted on the staffs or the working members or employees of an organization. This is a systematic review method and the information and data is collected from 2017 (Fibbins et al., 2018). Samples include the working staffs and it comprises of both men and women staff and the samples are considered in a randomly manner so that an actual pool of data and knowledge can be retrieved here and also that it can give a justified understanding about the intervention like exercise towards mental health. The sample size was all the employees as per the organizational database.

The authors find that physical health interventions are helpful and feasible for the employees to develop their mental health. The key findings here include that the intervention such as exercise which is a body and mind fitness intervention that works here effectively (Fibbins et al., 2018). This intervention works aptly for the social work which is mental health intervention and the research points out to that only. It is reported that reductions in work related stress and improvement of mental health and psychological wellbeing is possible after the intervention such as exercise.

The limitations of this source are that it does not include any secondary data (Fibbins et al., 2018). The strength is that it includes variety of respondents from different organizational level.

It can be concluded that the research helps in identifying the appropriate practices for mental health preservation of the organizational employees.

Waid, C., Steven, S., Sinclair, L., Priest, L., Petrie, S., Carson, D. B., & Peters, P. A. (2019). Report: Interventions for Rural and Remote Youth Mental Health.

The paper is about rural and remote youth mental health development. The aim of the researchers here is to present the best practices that lead to better mental health condition of the youths living in rural areas. Objective is meeting the healthcare needs of the youths of rural and remote areas of Australia. Questions are related to mental health issues of the youths of remote parts of Australia.

This research was conducted in Australia in the remote areas mainly. The research methods and samples here are based on primary evidence and this is published in a research article of Carleton University. Primary research method is used here. A sample of 275 youths is selected.  The samples here include youths up to the age limit of 25. The rural and remote communities present in Australia have many youths and the issue of mental illness is very common in this section. The use of research method such as primary research is implemented here (Waid et al., 2019). The youths of the rural and the remote communities are used as the participants here and it is from them that the reasons and also the characteristics of mental health condition or issue are known. In this context Prisma Checklist, researches done in PUbmed, Scopus and others are also considered and are noted so that they can add some more knowledge and idea to the context (Waid et al., 2019). The authors find that lack of job, low socio-economic condition and lack of day to day amenities and facilitate lead to a mental setback leading to mental health issues.

The interventions that work include community consultation, group discussion and some others (Waid et al., 2019). These researches have in-depth knowledge about the right interventions to deal youth mental illness such as cultural competency, taking the youths as active participants in social or community based work, imparting healthcare knowledge to them and others.

The limitations of the source include some points and those are lack of detailed information about the demography of the communities and the remote areas (Waid et al., 2019). The strength of it is that it has a thorough research approach.

It can be concluded that rural and remote youth mental health issue is a predominant one and proper interventions are necessary to combat that.

Lawrence, P., Fulbrook, P., Somerset, S., & Schulz, P. (2017). Motivational interviewing to enhance treatment attendance in mental health settings: A systematic review and meta‐analysis. Journal of psychiatric and mental health nursing, 24(9-10), 699-718.

The paper is about usability of motivational interview approach. The objective here is to increases the rate of patients through motivational approaches like that of interview. The aim is meeting mental health needs of all in Australia. The questions are based on approaches of motivational interview and how to enhance treatment attendance.

The research method is based on primary research approach with randomized controlled trails and this leads to sub-group analysis before and after the treatment The method is a very scientific one and 14 randomized controlled trails are used here so that it can help in providing a better understanding and outcome of the interventions to all the participants (Lawrence et al., 2017). The research was conducted in the hospital of Australia. The research method focuses on before and after state of the respondents as well (Lawrence et al., 2017). The samples here mainly include the mental health patients and a sample size of 1275 is considered here seeking help and treatment to combat their situation and their condition. Differences in groups are also kept as the sample form so that the wide idea on this can be received.

The intervention such as motivational interview is found to be helpful here and that is noted and considered in this context so that it leads to better outcome. The intervention such as motivational interview works in this case and this is only suggested (Lawrence et al., 2017). The authors find that motivational interviews can be helpful in increasing the attendance of the patients for mental health.

The limitation of the source is that it does not use any kind of secondary information or data which could have otherwise added more knowledge to this subject or intervention (Lawrence et al., 2017). The strength on the other hand is a detailed primary research intervention.

It can be concluded here that the research article tries to meet the maximum mental health need of the patients.

The challenges in finding the relevant resources is there in this context since the resources should be such that it has proper evidence and also has proper research approach and data also that it can eventually add to the development of the topic that mental health interventions. The challenges such as putting the right keyword and also then sorting and screening for the right and accurate articles is quite challenging here and that needs to be referred to or taken into consideration in this case. There has been a consistent message in these resources and that include the fact that mental health needs more priority and more focus and also that mental health is the key to physical and psychical health as well and unless and until there are right interventions towards the development of mental health the predominant issue of mental illness cannot be eradicated fully. The message also includes the idea that continuous research of different types has been there and is going on to address mental health condition.
