Chapter 1: Introduction

The new technologies of the founding of Uber Technologies Inc. in the year 2009 create greater relaxation regarding travelling issues among the public. Moreover, this service also offers the facility of choosing the vehicle as per the requirement of the customer and at an affordable cost. It also provides intended groups for the users through the application of ICT technologies. Apart from that Uber provides the facilities to claim about the function and trustworthiness and also the quality of ride that regulations of taxi failed.

The research is based on the various analyses regarding the background as well as the customer services provided by Uber technologies. Even it also focuses on identifying the various benefits and drawbacks of Uber with that of taxi.

 Chapter 2: Background of the company

The technology of Uber is using peer-to-peer ridesharing, transportation, food delivery, Taxicab Company. The headquarter of Uber  is situated in San Francisco and operating along with various cities throughout the globe.

The disruptive technology of Uber and in explosive growth is in higher demand in current world. As per the company's age is almost ten years and it will soon grow as leading brand in the world (Alemi et al. 2018, p. 88). Even this fascinating company is in constant controversy among the public over the last decades.

The story of Uber started in 2008 in Paris. The founder of this brand Travis Kalanick and Garrett Camp was the revolutionary for the future growth of the company. The target of the company is to provide simplicity and ease of ordering a vehicle through the app’s popularity rising among the customers (Bussin and Bergh, 2017, p.295). Even this helps to creates the awareness of cab services due to rapid increases in internet services across the globe.

 Additionally, the CEO targets facilities of this app to create a relaxation riding throughout the globe and at affordable cost. The apps based on advanced technologies that it can easily access by the users and charge will be deducted from the user account. Even this company targets on saving the valuable time of the customers by providing the hybrid car in alteration with that of Yellow Taxi.Apart from that the company also received desist and cease order from the San Francisco due to the issues of the name of cabin Uber Cabs name.

 In 2011 the year was crucial regarding the growth of this company and is involved in series of funding that leads by the benchmarking company (Mahapatra and Telukoti, 2018, p.11)  Even, it expands its network across the globe such as Boston, New York, Chicago and so on. In this year the company also faced the challenges regarding the growth of the company. Addition to that in this year it introduced UberX to provide the hybrid car at low cost but faces greater losses.

 

It also faced various regulators and rivals in order to transform the black-car services into valuable logistics services to attract more and more customers. Even it provides facilities to choose the driver as per your desire. Even it provides the facilities of investigation and claims accordingly for any criminal issues by legal policies for the security of customers. It also provides think tank consisting with nuclear physicist that identify the largest demand of hiring drivers of private cars.

Chapter 3: Customer service of Uber

The Uber app provides the customers of free downloading and booking the vehicle according to the demand of customers. It also provides the customer to choose their own driver and size of vehicle according to their needs. Apart from that, it provides the customer the standard services for riding at affordable cost at any time. Even the customer is provided with t5he details of cars and the drivers for more safety and security. This also helps to create the demand of the cab service among the users.

 Additionally, it always prioritizes the customers and their need for the services and also provides the quality response for the user and at an affordable price. Even it saves the time of customers and maintains their safety and security related to the criminal's actions. 

 It also provides the online support for the users during an emergency and booking can be done using the app conveniently. Apart from that, it solves the issuers regarding the issues with the trip with necessary facilities to customers through online. 

Addition to that the company also provided the customer services quick response through app and one of most dedicated ride-sharing companies. This also provides the GPS to locate the proper address of the users and immediate services is provided at any places.

 The app also has several questions in order to identify the need for improvement regarding the customer satisfaction and fulfillment of their demand at any time. The app also contains greenlight hubs locations that are accessed by the expert to solve the issues of users and at any time as per the conditions (Matherne and O’Toole, 2017, p.565).

Apart from that, it contains a phone number related to the critical safety response line that helps the customers to claims against any issues (Hayes and Altuwayjiri, 2017, p.1508). It also has user email responses facilities in order to support the inquiry and respond quickly to the customers.
